How to Apply to Order Aadhaar PVC Card Online?
As we mentioned earlier, an individual can apply online to order the Aadhaar PVC Card through several methods that include:Â
- Method 1 & 2: Through UIDAI official website (with or without Aadhaar registered mobile number) and
- Method 3: Through mAadhaar app.
Method 1: Order Aadhaar PVC Card Through UIDAI Website Using Registered Mobile Number
To order the UIDAI issued Aadhaar PVC online through official website of UIDAI (myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in) using Aadhaar registered mobile number, follow the steps provided below:
- Open your web browser and navigate to the official UIDAI website: myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in.
- Locate and click on the “Login” button, displayed on the homepage.
- Now enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number and the provided captcha code. Then, select the “Login with OTP” option.
- After that, you’ll receive a One-Time Password (OTP) on your Aadhaar-registered mobile number.
- Enter this OTP in the designated field and proceed by clicking “Login“.
- Once logged in, find and select the “Order Aadhaar PVC Card” option from the available services.
- You’ll be presented with two options: enter your Aadhaar number and captcha code, or provide your enrollment ID and captcha code. Choose your preferred method and input the required information accurately.
- Click “Send OTP” to receive another One-Time Password on your registered mobile number.
- Enter the received OTP in the provided field to verify your identity.
- The system will display your Aadhaar details, including your name, address, and photograph. Carefully review this information for accuracy.
- After confirming your details, scroll down and click the “Next” button to proceed.
- You’ll be directed to a payment page displaying the fee for the Aadhaar PVC card (which is Rs. 50).
- Read and accept the terms and conditions, then click “Make Payment“.
- Choose your preferred payment method from the available options, which include debit cards, credit cards, net banking, digital wallets, or UPI.
- Complete the transaction securely.
- Upon successful payment, don’t forget to click “Download Acknowledgment” to save a confirmation receipt for your records.
Method 2: Order Aadhaar PVC Card Through UIDAI Website Without Registered Mobile Number
Aadhaar PVC Card can be ordered online without an Aadhaar registered mobile number. So, if you have lost your mobile number, changed it, and haven’t updated it on Aadhaar, or simply don’t have access to it, you can still order your Aadhaar PVC Card online. To do so, follow the steps provided below:
- First, visit the UIDAI official website myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in.
- Now, on the mainpage, locate and click on the “Order Aadhaar PVC Card” option.
- Now, you will be presented with two options to order it. One is through your Aadhaar Number and the other is through Enrollment ID Number.Â
- So, click on the radio button in front of any one option, whose number is accessible to you.
Option 1: If you choose the Aadhaar number option.
- Click on the radio button in front of the Aadhaar Number.
- Then, enter your Aadhaar Number in the designated area and Captcha Code.Â
- After that tick the option that says “My mobile number is not registered“
- Then, enter the available mobile number and click on the Send OTP option.
- An OTP will be received on your provided mobile number.Â
- Enter the OTP in the designated area.Â
- Tick the Terms and Conditions option.
- Then click on the Submit button.
- A message will pop up saying “Due to privacy reasons, demographics data for the Aadhaar number can not be disclosed at the state. However, the ordered PVC card will have the latest demographics data of the Aadhaar.”
- Click on Okay.
- Then, click on the box in front of the statement “ I hereby confirm that I have read and understood the Payments / Cancellation / Refunds Process.”
- Then click on the Make Payment option.
- Now select the preferable payment option and complete the payment process.Â
- After the payment, an acknowledgment slip will display on your screen, download the acknowledgment slip for future reference as it contains SRN (Service Request Number) that will help you check your Aaadhaar PVC Card status.
- You can check the progress of your Aadhaar PVC Card order online.Â
- It is suggested to check the order in 2-3 days.
Option 2: If you choose the Enrollment ID Number option.
- If you choose the radio button in front of the Enrollment ID Number, Enter the 14-digit Enrolment Number.Â
- Then, enter the Enrollment ID (EID) Date and EID time.
- Enter the Captcha Code.
- Now, tick the option “My mobile number is not registered“
- Now enter the available mobile number and click on the Send OTP button.
- An OTP will be received on the mobile number provided.
- A notice window pops up on your screen, click on Okay here and proceed further.
- Then, click on Make Payment and select your preferred mode of payment to complete the order.
- Once the payment of Rs. 50 is completed, you will receive an acknowledgment slip, download it. It contains an SRN (Service Request Number) that will help you check the Aadhaar PVC Card Status.
Method 3: Order Aadhaar PVC Card via the mAadhaar App
For those who prefer mobile solutions, you can also order your Aadhaar PVC card using the mAadhaar mobile application. For this, follow the steps provided below:
- Download and open the mAadhaar app on your smartphone.
- Log in using your 12-digit Aadhaar number and the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
- Explore the app’s menu to find the “Order PVC Aadhaar card” option.
- Carefully review and confirm the personal details associated with your Aadhaar number.
- Select your preferred payment method (debit card, credit card, or UPI).

Aadhaar PVC Card Delivery Time
After completing your order and payment for an Aadhaar PVC card, UIDAI initiates a streamlined printing process.
The authority takes approximately 5 (five) business days to process and print your card, excluding the day when you submitted your request.
Once the printing is complete, UIDAI transfers the PVC card to the Department of Posts (DoP) for delivery. The card is then shipped through India Post’s Speed Post service to the address registered in your Aadhaar database, following their standard delivery protocols and timeframes.
It’s important to note that the five-working-day timeline specifically covers UIDAI’s printing process, after which the actual delivery time will depend on India Post’s service standards for your location.

To check the status of your Aadhaar PVC card order online through myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in, follow these steps:
- Visit the official UIDAI website at myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in.
- Locate and click on the ‘Check Aadhaar PVC Card Order Status‘ option on the homepage.
- Enter your SRN (generated during your online PVC card application) and the captcha code.
- Click the “Submit” button to view your Aadhaar PVC card order status.
Alternatively, you can visit your nearest Aadhaar Enrollment Center and inquire about your PVC card status by providing your Aadhaar number or SRN.

To check the order status of the Aadhaar PVC Card online through the UMANG website, follow the steps provided below:
- Visit the official UMANG website https://web.umang.gov.in/
- Go to the search bar and type Aadhaar.
- Now, click on the Aadhaar option in the department section.Â
- Here, scroll down and click on the “Check Aadhaar PVC Card Order Status” option.
- Now enter your SRN (Service Request number) and Captcha Code.
- Then, hit the “Submit” button.Â
- The current status of your Aadhaar PVC Card order will display on your screen.
How to Check Aadhaar PVC Card Status Through MAadhaar App?
Individuals can also check their Aadhaar PVC Card status through the mAadhaar App as well. To do so, follow the steps provided below:

- Login to the app using your 12-digit Aadhaar number.
- Click on Send OTP.
- An OTP will be received to your Aadhaar registered mobile number.

What to do if Aadhaar PVC card is not delivered?
If you haven’t received your Aadhaar PVC card after placing an order, there are several steps you can take to resolve the situation. First, contact the UIDAI Helpline by calling them on 1947 or mailing them at help@uidai.gov.in (both services are free of cost)Â and provide them with your Enrollment number to track your card’s status.
